The general requirements to become a foster parent are as follows:
- Responsible, Healthy Adult (21 yrs old)
- Stable Income
- Reliable Transportation
- Married, Divorced or Single, not Separated
- Home Study Conducted by We Care
- Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances through NCID
- 30 hrs of Training - Provided by We Care
- If Divorced, must be finalized
- Home must pass a Fire/Health Inspection conducted by WCCFS
